Charity Auciton for our Military

Back on 30 May 2009 at the Cocoa Beach Comfort Inn and Suites the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce's Military Affairs Council held its Annual Charity Fund Raising Auction to raise money to provide Holiday Meals to our troops who can not make it home to their families. It is very rewarding to know that we have raised funds for such a worthy cause. The items that we auction off are all donated and the facility is donated as well. Dave Spain is an avid supporter of our military and we appreciate him and his organizations support. The auction was poorly attended this year due in some part I'm sure to the economy. We had a good time anyway and still managed to raise some money for a good cause. You can watch some of the auction
